EFSA: Is it the science to curb marketing abuse?
The European Food Safety Authority NDA Panel (Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies) recently published its first scientific opinions on health claims made on foods. The scientific investigation by the Panel is very tough, but with an EU population approaching +450 million people, the stakes are also high. Is the EU using science to control the marketing practices of companies?..........
